Bog Land

Standing on the wooden platform at Parkin’s Moss provides you with an intimate view of this raised bog whilst keeping your feet dry! The view leads to the woodland edge and towards Culblean in the distance. Photographs taken at this post will record seasonal changes in the vegetation of the bog and adjacent woodland, as well as changing water levels, tree removal in some areas and tree growth in others.
